Inclement Weather

- 30/30 Rule

Simply stated, you see the flash of lightning and if you hear the bang (thunder) within 30 seconds; then you must stop the match for 30 minutes.  If the flash-bang occurs during the 30 minute stoppage and the sound was within the 30 seconds, the 30 minute begins again.

Also in high school soccer, when you reach half time and weather or some other emergency prevents one from continuing the match; the match is considered a completed match.  The second half does not have to begin.
